Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking and mesmerizing views from Waipio Valley Lookout, calling it a must-visit on the Big Island. The dramatic cliffs, lush greenery, and ocean vistas are highlights. However, many note the disappointment of restricted access to the valley floor, emphasizing the importance of respecting local rules. InstagramReddit+1

"Visited Waipi'of Valley as part of the round the big island tour with my partner in May 2024. The views of the valley from the lookout were stunning. Normally you can go down to valley, but when we were there the road was closed to tourists and accessible by locals only. I don’t know if this was just temporary, but if you can go down now it's not recommended to walk as the road is steep and a 4x4 is recommended not a car. If you do walk down its recommended to get a lift back up.if your visiting the big island you must put the Waipi'o Valley on your bucket list of places to see the views are worth it.
