What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Beachside State Recreation Site's stunning oceanfront campsites and direct beach access, calling it one of the best-maintained spots on the coast. While some note potential road noise and accessibility challenges for mobility devices, the friendly staff and clean facilities contribute to a highly positive experience. It's a popular choice for its natural beauty and value.
"Lovely and quiet if you're farther away from the highway. ADA site was completely paved and level. The path from the ADA accessible camping spot to the showers was very difficult to maneuver in my mobility scooter. As was getting into the restroom and shower areas. They have installed a handheld shower head but it does not attach to anything so you will have to hold it. If I use my walker it is more manageble to get into the restroom and shower area."

"I love Oregon campsite . They’re so much cheaper, cleaner , and a better environment compared to California. Amenities include showers , tables, fireplace grill, and within walking distance to the beach . This site does offer rv hookups . If you don’t mind hearing road noise some of the sites near the road is a bit noisy. Clean campground , bathrooms are clean and the shower stall is disable friendly . Update - I left my hiking boots there & they shipped it back to me. I’m so touched by their generosity and friendly staff . Thank you so much !!!!!"

👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Pack plenty of layers as coastal weather can change quickly. Bring beach toys, buckets for tide pooling, and snacks for easy beachside picnics.
