"The tunnel itself isn't long. There is a massive cage blocking any entrance further in. Still, very awesome to experience! Our family unfortunately came during a dry period so the Issaqueena Falls had minimal water coming down. We hiked the rest of our trip there which was suitable for our youngest who is 6."

"Nice place to walk... easy walk to the tunnel. Never went inside. Just explored area surrounding it. Such as the water falls, and part of the Palmetto Trail. Perfect autumn day for enjoying the colors."

"Fun, quick hike through a dark, unfinished railroad tunnel. Great for history buffs! There is a small walk uphill (not very strenuous) and the tunnel is damp, did I mention dark?? My imagination was going wild!! The signage mention bats but thankfully we didn't see any. Nice area with picnic tables, hiking and a waterfall also. Plenty of photo-ops and a $5 entrance fee..."
