The friendly owners and unique atmosphere of this historic Gold Rush town establishment are frequently praised, making it a highly recommended stop for a taste of local history and great dining.
"My husband and I drove by this place a couple of weeks ago and thought oh we need to go back and check it out! So today we took a drive about 40 minutes from our house up to Coeur d’Alene River road to Murray. There you’ll find a Sprague pool in a museum and restaurant! I have to say we had the best experience. The owners are amazing and our food was hands-down the best we have had since we moved to Silver Valley! My patty melt, no picture because I inhaled it before pictures,🥰🤣was hands-down by far the best patty melt I have ever had! it was cooked to order the way I liked it! My husband had the Almquist burger and was just raving about how amazing it was and that it is truly the best burger he has ever had! Please go support this local couple that took ownership of this historical dinning and gathering establishment about a year ago!"

"Wonderful owners! Amazing collection of artifacts. It's difficult to put into words how large the museum was. I continued to hear "wow" and "woa" as others entered. It's not easily visible from the outside since you have to walk through the bar, but get a drink at the bar first (great conversation) and you can take your drink into the museum. We spent probably an hour here due to the extensive and eclectic collection. Only open on the weekends right now, but unsure if/when that will change. Definitely worth a visit. I added a couple pics, but these are only 1/20th of what you'll see."

"I would suggest EVERYONE to stop in and check it out! Plenty of awesome history, been going there for years and STILL find new stuff everything. Free entry, and you are allowed to bring in your beers! It's also nice to cool off in for the hot summer days"
