"This is an awesome place to visit if you are Wallingford resident! It is packed full of history and guides whose brain you can pick. It is open on Sunday for free and you can go through the two floors and if it's not busy you can get a personal guided tour. For those of you who appreciate history there are all kinds of things that you can guess what they are! There are some unique pieces such as the dolls on the second floor and the kitchen utensils in the small pantry of the main floor. The windows with original glass are protected. There is a huge genealogy upstairs on the table that is phenomenal! You will see the names of people who names circulate in this town through schools street names etc. It's a pretty interesting way to spend an hour or so if you are a history buff or want to have some type of appreciation for what the people before you experience in this town and this country."

"Amazing bit of history! The location, founded in the early 1900s, is entirely independent by folks interested in preserving history and the local stories of Wallingford. Very unique collection of artifacts, especially in the diversity. Very interesting history on the Hall family and their legacy, among dozens of other contributors to history.
You'll never meet kinder people than those maintaining this organization; if you enjoy history, take some time to hear their stories."
