This is superb educational stop, for space enthusiasts and their families. The grounds surrounding the museum, have many rockets available for viewing. The have an elevator to carry you to the roof top, providing a great area view and the Military has a practice field close by and frequently fly over this site. You will be educated about many significant projects and missions carried out at Wallops. They offer videos and interactive areas that are very engaging. They have a nice gift shop to purchase patches, clothing and other souvenirs. Please check hours of operation, they aren't open but a few days a week."

The displays and grounds were nice and we liked the interactive displays- especially the interactive earth model! The employees at the information desk and in the gift shop were very friendly and helpful. The presentations in the theater were very informative. We loved the gift shop and the model rockets around the facility! This is a nice place to spend an hour when visiting the Chincoteague area!"
