i’m sure this sub gets asked this very often but i will be traveling to walnut creek, concord area soon to visit family for 2 weeks and want to know what are some must-do’s and must-eats? we’ll also be taking bart into san fran so suggestions for there as well would be great

"This beautiful renovated outside mall has lots of upscale stores to shop in. Me personally would rather see local or smaller mom and pop stores than big corporate stores. It's unfortunate that Walnut Creek has got so expensive that most of these shops are closed or moved elsewhere. I will say that FINALLY we now have live music in the summer to go to with some great local bands. Thank you!!"
