"Admission to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center includes entry to the Fort Mandan visitor center and recreated fort of Lewis and Clark. Be sure to time your visit to include a guided tour. Although a self-guided tour is an option, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and commentary provided by the young gentleman who was our tour guide. The original fort was in a different area now lost to the river, but the reconstruction gives a great view into the living conditions of the travel party."

"Make sure to take the tour. Admission is included in the price ($10 per adult) for Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Nick was an excellent tour guide. You will enter a few of the rooms in the fort. The best part is you can touch everything in the fort and visitor center except weapons and metal."
