What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Coral Canyon is a visually appealing neighborhood with attractive, often remodeled homes and scenic views. However, its defining characteristic is a highly strict HOA that enforces numerous rules, leading to frequent fines and resident frustration. The community pools are a plus, especially in summer, but can be crowded and lack amenities in winter, with dated furniture being a common complaint.
"My grandparents own a house here. We have gone here several times and the pools during the summer are great. There is a medium sized indoor pool, a large outdoor pool, and small shallow outdoor pool. In the summer, it’s great and there is enough space for many people without feeling cramped or uncomfortable. The winter though, it is cramped because the indoor pool is the only one open and it is not enough space for the amount of people that come to the pool. I think it would nice to have the outdoor pools open in the winter. If they are not heated, they definitely should be. There is just not enough space for over 20 people to be in the indoor pool at a time. I also think that there needs to be a hot tub. Several times I have been here and heard people say “oh there is no hot tub!” I have said the same thing. Thanks for bringing memories that my family has enjoyed over the years and as we grow it would be nice if things could grow along with us. Thanks!"

"I’ve always loved the coral canyon pool until the last two years. They have pool furniture that’s over 10 years old. They are stained and broken. There is barely any pool furniture to accommodate everyone at the pool. I pay good money in HOAs and expect to have a place to sit when I come to the pool. I do not recommend building in coral canyon until they can keep up with the amenities."

"Having a second home in this community has been nice. Though if you love HOA breathing down your neck telling you what you can and cant do, then this is the place for you! if you love fines for parking on the street, having plants in your backyard that aren't indigenous then this is the perfect place for you to pay those fines."
