What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Old Town Trolley Tours in Washington DC generally receive positive reviews for their engaging guides and convenient hop-on hop-off service, especially the 'Monuments by Moonlight' tour. While many praise the historical insights and flexibility, some travelers found the time at stops too short and the pace rushed, leading to stress.
"They were very accommodating in helping use our tickets for a moonlight tour when we didn’t make it in time to catch a daytime tour. I’m so glad we did the moonlight tour instead! Our driver and tour guide Cowboy was so fun!! We really enjoyed our time with him and caught some amazing views. He was very informative and his trivia games were fun. He also made sure everyone had time to take photos with great views no matter the side they were sat on. Thank you Cowboy, yeehaw!"

"My daughter and I had such an amazing experience, we had a very short 2 day trip to DC and there is no way we would’ve learned all the history or seen all that we saw if not for Old Town Trolley Tours. Everyone from sales Associate Gabe to the managers at the union station were all so friendly. The driver David was an amazing guide and did a wonderful job throughout the entire time. We had plenty of time at each stop to leisurely stroll and take a TON of pictures. We sat just behind the second door on the bus and I’d say it was the perfect spot. I’m still in awe of how beautiful the monuments looked at night. Thank you Old Town Trolley Tours we had an unforgettable time and will definitely be taking the tour in our home city next. P.S. I was limited in pictures I included in my review since I didn’t want to show the ones with my daughter so they do not do the tour justice."

"Took the DC Monuments day tour and the Monuments by Moonlight tour the same evening. Loved them both! Mike(?) was very personable and informative during the day tour...and was great with restaurant recommendations. MJ was our guide on the night tour and was also very entertaining and informative. I was not aware that the night tour allowed us to get off and take photos at the stops...which was awesome! My only complaint was that the website said the Moonlight Monuments Tour started at 6:30 PM. It does not...it started at 8, I think. Which was great for the after-sunset visuals, but screwed up the rest of my evening plans."
