"Nice local park on the coast. Bird observations hide was a nice surprise. Wish I was in the area more than a few hours would have loved to spend more time exploring."

"Great Park to just relax on the oceanfront. Didn't get a chance to tour the Mansion and gardens. Maybe next time. Went down to the beach which was very nice, but there is no swimming allowed. Many picnic areas with grills and nice tables available. Great place for a large family reunion or get together. Lots of shade in the picnic areas. The rest rooms were super clean also. There are a large number of walking trails also. Perfect for the daily walk."

"So beautiful! So many places to explore and paths to take! The beach is beautiful! And the staff at the booth were so kind and gave us a rundown since it was our first time there!
If you are planning to visit, know that the beach is no swimming. Its for wading and fishing. And if you plan to go in the water you have to have watershoes on because there are fishing hooks in the sand. The staff warned us at the gate. The boardwalk, mansion, gardens, and just the whole park are worth exploring even if you dont plan to go on the beach!"
