"We were in town visiting from Charlottesville VA for Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving the museum had closed for a blood drive.
In an experience that can only be labeled "it's Iowa" we were admitted in anyway by Iowa Wrestling Hall of Famer Jim Miller for a guided tour.
Great stories from Mr. Miller, typical Iowan humility on his own extraordinary achievements, and generous engagement with our boys.
Check this museum out- plenty of collegiate, professional and Olympic wrestling exhibits and the layout is very well done. The Dan Gable section is tops.
We'll be back. And sincere thanks to Mr. Miller."

"This museum is a gem. It includes an assortment of exhibits including the singlet that Dan Gable wore during his historic performance at the 1972 Olympics. There is also a theater and a wrestling mat. There is even an exhibit dedicated to professional wrestlers. Check this place out."
