Once the bandstand was erected, the 400 Block became a wonderful venue for local and national bands. During the day, this open space makes downtown feel spacious and clean. During the summer, on Wednesday evenings, there usually is a wonderful band playing, at no cost. You are allowed to carry in any beverage/food of your choice. Open alcohol containers are allowed within the 400 block park.
