"Sunflower Spectacular – Worth the Trip 🌻
I visited yesterday and it was absolutely worth the $21 ticket. You can walk the gardens (beautiful!) and the ticket includes a voucher to pick your own sunflowers—3 stems are included, and additional stems are just $1 each.
Sunflowers are one of my favorites, so this was a treat. I picked one for my sister and brought two home. The fields were gorgeous, the vibe was peaceful, and the experience felt thoughtful and well-priced.
Highlights:
* Access to the garden grounds
* 3 pick-your-own sunflowers included (+$1 per extra)
* Relaxing, scenic experience
Verdict: Highly recommend for a simple, feel-good day surrounded by sunshine and blooms. 💛"

"We made an impromptu visit to the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Garden at Elm Bank today and had a fantastic time. The annual Tulip Mania was in full bloom—literally—and it was a stunning sight. The gardens are beautifully maintained and easy to navigate, with plenty of open space for little ones to explore.
Our daughter Payton had a blast running through the paths, spotting flowers, and just enjoying being outdoors. It’s a very family-friendly spot, with just the right mix of formal gardens and natural play areas. Staff were friendly, and there was a peaceful, unhurried vibe to the whole place.
If you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon surrounded by flowers and nature—especially during tulip season—Elm Bank is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The Garden at Elm Bank is a large facility/area maintained by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, with many different flowers/agriculture blooming across the whole area. There is a field for kids to play sports on, as well as many parking areas to park the car.
We came here for Tulip Mania, an annual Pick your own tulips event while they're still available, or also able to get pre-cut ones as well. The fields are vast and large, with many different colors available to choose from.
The rest of the areas are beautiful as well. Some parts like the Asian garden are under renovation, but many of the areas are nice to take photos at or observe the various types of flowers and plants growing.
This is a perfect spot for a casual date or fun family outing."
