"Beautiful green rolling landscapes with lots of wildflowers in bloom this time of year. Great bird watching too. Saw lark buntings, meadowlarks, and towhees. The trails are very narrow, which is kind of nice but the grasses hanging over made it easy for ticks to get on us. We had the place all to ourselves when we went on a weekday morning. No trees so bring lots of water and a hat. Leave the pup at home, they aren’t allowed, maybe due to bison in the area."

"This is a really nice place to hike. There are plenty of trails. I went on a week day, and I did not see anyone else on the trails. The views are spectacular. Everything is well kept. There are free maps with mileage so you can plan your hike.
It is definitely worth exploring."

"Beautiful area, and there is a buffalo herd in the area. If you are lucky enough to see them. Not usually crowded. There is no tree coverage, so keep that in mind on hot days. Bring lots of water and snacks. It's far away from everything. No dogs allowed."
