"October 29th 2025. Very nice park and the lady at the check in office was very nice and helpful. Thankfully I came on a cooler day because it was 100 degrees the day before and today was in the mid 70's when I got there early in the day. Lots to see and many very nice walking trails. The highlight for me was the HUGE alligator basking in the sun right next to the painfully obvious No Swimming sign.😆😆"

"This is a wonderful Park to visit for nature viewing. Due to it's location you will see birds that are difficult to find any other place in the US. We saw many Great Kissedees and Green Jays. It's neighbor Park nearby, Resaca de la Palma was ever bit as good for this also. We also went on a butterfly tour that was equally informative."
