"Tour with owner Paul was very interesting and he took his time answering all our questions and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the property and with the brewing process and distillery equipment - it was all very impressive! The bar had unique drinks made from their own spirits and the deck and views are wonderful. The house itself is beautifully restored and maintains historical elements. If you want to sit inside with a view I would book your reservations in the sun room. The only disappointment was the dinner. Neither of our meals were good, not what we expected, and strip steak was tough and far from medium as requested. The waitress appeared inexperienced, several things were off about the service. There were no specials, and way too many dishes on menu that involved corn. Although it appeared everyone around us was enjoying their meal so perhaps we just had some bad luck. I would go back for drinks and apps but probably not for dinner until some improvements are made. They are still pretty new. But it’s gorgeous and has a great space for events!"

You are getting much more than just a venue if you decide to have a wedding. From start to finish with planning a wedding with Hudson House, Melissa was topnotch and on top of everything from the moment I had emailed for a tour of the venue. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous and has an amazing view, but the hospitality really brought the day to another level. Every single staff member was attentive and so nice, the food was absolutely stunning, and Melissa had every detail set and was completely flexible in making the day run smoothly, while at the same time making it look effortless. I work in hospitality and my husband plays in a wedding band, we've worked and have seen countless venues over the years, and Hudson House is very special. It is hands down the best wedding venue we've ever experienced. It was the perfect day and we will recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat."

The staff was exceptional, always checking in with me to see if we needed anything! Lunch was delicious and plentiful! The view is incredible, making our photos of this special day remarkable! The planning of this event was also exceptional, working with Melissa (Event Coordinator/Manager) was a delight! We were beyond happy with our choice!!
