"Just took a tour with Howard -lasted about 70 minutes, mostly because he was obviously a fount of knowledge - an amateur historian. One of those people you come across who are unassuming but brilliant jn a quiet way.
Anyway, if you like American history, this place is fascinating. Washington slept here. Met with Rochambeau (remember from Hamilton - we’ll rendezvous with Rochambeau - that guy) here. Silas Deane was also remarkable, and kind of screwed over by the factional infighting of the time."
