"It's a very small structure, but still cool to see when you think of its history."
Eric
"The Mount Wood Cemetery sits at a very quiet and solemn area, high above the city. It is also across from the Mount Wood overlook, that is the castle itself. I didn’t enter or walk through the graveyard due to time constraints, but the entrance looked very etiquette in design. The buildings, graves and other structures appear sturdy and clean. The entire area looks well maintained, with active grave keeper on-duty. There are few visitors during weekdays, so it is little to not busy at all here. For those who had family or loves ones buried here, this is one of the most peaceful resting places you can give to someone who have passed, in Wheeling. May they rest in peace. 🙏"
