Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Lake Wichita Veterans Memorial Plaza for its beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting, offering a serene space for reflection and remembrance. The comprehensive representation of all military branches and the poignant Gold Star Families Memorial are frequently highlighted as significant features. Some wish for more shaded seating and readily available water fountains to enhance comfort during longer visits.

"Great memorial. Complete with benches, statues, and a main memorial dedicated to Gold Star families. All branches are represented and being next to the water, it makes for a very peaceful, relaxing place to reminisce, and ponder and think about our military and those who gave their life for our freedoms.
Wish they had somewhere to sit with some shade. Also, wish they had some water fountains near by for those wishing to spend a little time here. But aside from that, it's a great location, close to the playground, restroom, and private event area, in case you want to have a full on BBQ during Veterans Day or 4th of July. Support our troops."
