"Have done some painting nights and a cooking night here. The painting nights are fun but not extremely guided. However it is relaxing and the materials are all ready for you.
The cooking class was an experience and although I definitely appreciate the effort, it was rather chaotic. The person running the class was wanting the class to make like five to ten different things total and you could pick which dishes you wanted to make (but no duplicates). Someone else chose the same dish as my husband and I so we therefore could not make it. We had to just settle for making a dessert which really was not what I paid $60 apiece for - to essentially just use a mixer. The food was good at the end but I did not feel like I learned anything. The class was big and it was honestly kind of stressful to me. I envisioned we could each get to make the same thing, have all the ingredients ready and waiting at our places in an orderly systematic way to ensure we all get an equal opportunity and experience. What we got was a bit of a disorganized evening. Again, the food was good at the end and the instructor and assistants were very nice. But I think I need a bit more structure. This might just be a personal preference."
