Visitors consistently praise Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park for its friendly and helpful staff, extensive shaded trails, and dog-friendly atmosphere. The park's vastness offers plenty of secluded spots, making it ideal for peaceful nature walks. While some RV sites are undergoing renovations, the overall maintenance and natural beauty are highly appreciated.
"We had an error and the campsite I thought was reserved didn't reserve for us on line. Have no fear! The campsite hosts here are the best. We got a site that day and one that they just opened from renovation. Everyone that we have come in contact with, from park staff to the law enforcement, have been so friendly and helpful. There's so much to do in this park, even my husband can't make up his mind."

"I recently moved to the area, and this is my favorite park to take my dog for walks and explore nature. I willingly drive the 25 minutes to come here over closer nature spots in the area because I’m always able to find a secluded spot to myself, which is helpful for me since my dog can be pretty reactive around other dogs. It’s soooo beautiful. Lots of trails as well as open spaces, and the park is huge. I’ve barely explored a section of it. It would also be a great place to come with family as there are a number of shelters, picnic tables, and grills all over the place. Highly recommend!"
