The operators are praised for being friendly and safety-conscious, and the ride offers great views of the historic town. However, inconsistent operating hours and occasional closures have led to significant disappointment for some, with reports of the attraction being unexpectedly shut down even during posted open times.
"The people helping us on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning were absolutely lovely. They were very friendly and quick to help us. They were very mindful of safety and the ride was smooth, exciting, and fun. Our kids went multiple times, and we recommend stopping by for a nice view of town."

"We were here at 5pm on a Saturday, left after 7pm and they were closed the entire time. Multiple people were standing around waiting on it but no one was there. Tried calling multiple times every 20-30 mins while we walked the town, no answer. Don’t understand how they can be closed on a Saturday evening for hours when it says they are open till 9pm. Huge disappointment, wish they would give accurate times or at least post a note if they are on some type of break. Glad we didn’t purchase tickets ahead of time because the money would be wasted.
UPDATE - we returned in the morning before leaving town. Showed up at opening which is 8am. Still closed. Went to the museum across the street, had breakfast. Still closed after we finished. I assume this place is permanently shut down."

"Place says open and on restroom break. Waited 30 min. No one showed up. Called the number multiple times and no one answered. This was at 2pm on a Saturday. Weeds growing everywhere. Don’t bother coming for this when the owner doesn’t seem to take the business seriously."
