It's a highly recommended spot for families, couples, and anyone looking for an educational and fun experience in Wilmington, with many visitors planning return trips.
"Lots of fun. A kids museum for sure with lots of hands-on things to try and view. The history section was very interesting and good for adults. We did the scavenger hunt which we really enjoyed despite us all being adults! Front desk was happy to find us concession pricing. Also, very few of the hands-on things were broken which is better than many other kids museums around."

"Super fun video exhibit, my husband enjoyed it as much as the kids. We went back twice! They also loved the space exhibit. They need to share both sides as far as the origin of life, creation as well millions of years"
Johanna Patchell
"My husband and I attended this museum on a Sunday afternoon. I’ve been to many different museums, The Smithsonian, Natural Science and History in Raleigh, etc. This one is by far one of the best! It’s very affordable, and has lots of different exhibits and dioramas. We really enjoyed the origin story of long leaf pines! And last but not least, the technology and space section. They have guitar hero that we couldn’t stop playing! Such an incredible date for couples! The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. 10/10!"
