"The whole family including our little dog Kona absolutely loved this restaurant! The pulled pork is phenomenal as well as the peanut butter brownie. They have free dog treats as well as a little $4 chicken bowl for dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and it felt like going to a backyard barbecue at a fellow dog lovers house. They had a great looking bar as well but I didn't get to try it. I will be back (as often as possible) and would definitely recommend it to both my two and four legged friends 😁"

From the colorful, covered outdoor patio--often hosting live music and sometimes even a few wandering chickens--to the interior walls covered in dog photos and customer signatures, the entire space feels loved, lived-in, and full of heart. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, memorable meal.

Despite the bustling, counter-service format, the customer service here is genuinely awesome. The staff is consistently friendly, patient, and welcoming, making every patron feel like a long-lost friend. Orders are handled efficiently, and you're lucky you might run into the owner, "Fish" Morgan...

The food at Yellow Dog Eats is the true star. They take classic comfort foods, especially BBQ and sandwiches, and transform them into gourmet, flavor-packed masterpieces. They pride themselves on house-smoked meats and locally sourced ingredients.

Must-try items include any of the signature pulled pork sandwiches, like theRufus or the Florida Cracker....Every dish strikes a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and smoky flavors, ensuring a delightful complexity that will keep us coming back.

"After hearing the glowing reviews from friends we decided to make the trip and see for ourselves if it is really that good. We were impressed.
The location is in a neighborhood and reminded us a bit of Key West with the bright colors. The decor was eclectic and fun. We parked in the back, being careful as we navigated into the back yard parking. We then walked through the dining area and into the house to place an order.
The staff was friendly and made the experience fun and easy.
The food did not disappoint. We got the pork nachos and it was so good. A wonderful combination of flavors met us. What made it stand out was the unique house made BBQ sauce. Just a great flavor when married with the succulent pulled pork.

We also got a slice of the coconut and chocolate cake to share amongst four people. The Coconut cake had a great flavor and texture. The Chocolate cake was really moist and extra rich with a fudge like frosting.

Well worth the drive and reasonable prices. Will visit again to try more options."
