What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Quarry Park is widely praised as a beautiful and engaging destination, particularly for its stunning quarry views and unique playground. Visitors appreciate the free admission and peaceful atmosphere, making it a gem for families and solo explorers alike. Some minor concerns include occasional graffiti and the playground's challenging elements for very young children.
"~Quarry Park is definitely one of Winston-Salem’s gems. The lookout tower gives you a great view of the quarry, and along the walk you’ll find informative displays about the different types of rock that were dug out here. It’s not a long visit, but it’s a beautiful spot for photos, a peaceful stroll, and a chance to enjoy one of the city’s feature attractions. Worth the trip!"

"It's a beautiful park. There are a few playground structures and what looks like a splash pad for the kids . There is also a huge enclosed structure with a slide, but it is high and the climb is tarps and ropes; easy for younger kids to fall through what seems like a 2 story high or more structure. It's pretty though."

"Stopped here with family. Beautiful park and overlook into the quarry. Great park for the kids. Only recommendation would be to plant about 100 trees around the property and along the walking paths."
