Good ponds/creeks/rivers?
I’m just looking for a nice area that isn’t specifically a big public park where there’s a nice pond, creek, and/or river to relax by! It’s been a rough couple of weeks so I’d like some nature and wind down time! Specifically in the Woodbridge/Manassas area!

"What a beautiful place! The trails are absolutely stunning, surrounded by peace, quiet, and the beauty of nature. The atmosphere is so tranquil—you can hear the birds singing and enjoy the stillness all around. I loved walking alone across the boardwalk, which leads you to different areas including a children’s park and even a workout area. Everything is so well maintained and makes for a refreshing experience.
The only things I noticed missing were water fountains and restrooms nearby, which could be a challenge for families with small children. Definitely bring your own water.
Overall, this is an outstanding trail and park—a true gem for relaxation, exercise, and connecting with nature. 🌿✨"

"Such a beautiful area and place to walk. I've come here so many different times and seen so many different animals. It's even dog friendly. My one dog enjoyed coming here before she passed. Can't wait to bring my new puppy eventually. My mom loves this place because it has benches spaced out along the walk you and stop and sit at. She also enjoys seeing all the birds, butterflies, and other creatures that live here. The pictures are a mix of each time I've gone over the last 3 years."
