Reviews Summary

Yorba Cemetery is highly praised for its historical significance and the exceptional quality of its guided tours. Visitors consistently highlight the informative, respectful, and engaging nature of the guides, who bring the stories of Orange County's oldest resting place to life. The serene park setting also adds to its appeal as a place for reflection.

"One of the first places s I met friends as a young teenager after moving to Yorba Linda, CA. We'd meet there late at night (probably snuck out after mom was asleep) and talk about all things important and wondrous for that age. We'd hunker down in a shallow unmarked grave that we supposed had been dug up by robbers. While looking back now it seems quite sacrilegious at the time it was mysterious and exciting."

"It feels strange, in some way, to rate a graveyard 5 stars. I mean, who am I to judge the final resting place of some 400 people? Well, judge their spot I shall not. It is the tour of this oldest cemetery in Orange County that here falls under scrutiny, and wow, that tour is PHENOMONAL.

Melanie and her Mother, affectionately referred to during parts of the tour as "Vanna", were intensely informative, resolutely respectful and fantastically funny.

The wife and I had a Saturday morning double date here with our son and his betrothed. We were all rapt from the beginning of the tour until the end. Melanie has so much local knowledge to share, knowledge buffered by the presence of several family members of the interred.

The history imparted during the tour bolstered our pride in the place we call Home, Anaheim Hills, or Peralta Hills as it was once known. We look forward to attending the tour the day before Mother's Day which promises not only the presence of even more family members, but also the attendance and input to be shared by members of the original Native American tribe of the area. It will NOT be a day to be missed."
