What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wean Park is praised as a great venue in a revitalized area, offering enjoyable concert experiences with friendly staff and good stage views. While some note potential improvements in service timing and occasional sound issues, the overall sentiment is positive, highlighting its appeal for both major events and community gatherings.
"Went to Ella Langley and Riley Green concert. Had seats in the lawn VIP. That area has is own porta potties, bars and free self serve lawn chairs. Bar staff was friendly. Easy to arrive to. Parking was only $20 and very easy to get to gate. Lines moved quickly. Much easier than the larger venues for exiting after concert. Perfect night for opening the season."

"Great venue in a revitalized area. I appreciate the history and also the nuances of the Amp. Overall I think that it's a very appealing place to have an event. I do think that there may be some room for improvement as far as timing of opening and closing of services, but I think you have that everywhere. It may just be dependent on city ordinance.... Now with dora, though, I would hope that we could possibly even be able to buy a water after 10:00 p.m. just a little gripe though, I guess it's just more a matter of pre-planning...
Thoroughly enjoyed last night's event! Kudos to the Amp, JAC, & the performers. Staff was also excellent, friendly, and very professional."

"Easy to get to. They have food vendors, the prices were high of course, check them all prices were different with each one. We could see good from the lawn. The sound was off on the concerts the nite we went. I would go back there again."
