"Pivot Point is to the east of the Hilton Garden hotel. This was an important time for the US when the railroad came through Yuma starting in 1877 and the the signs around the locomotive explain some of the details. its a beautiful spot and you can walk into the locomotive and view the controls. Its an easy walk to the west to see the Colorado River Visitors Center. There is a staircase down to the wetlands from this site."
