Reviews Summary
Parque Lecocq is widely praised as a beautiful and spacious place for relaxation and recreation, especially for picnics and BBQs. Visitors love the variety of animals, including free-roaming llamas, and the natural setting. Some find the entry fee slightly high for vehicles and note that payment is cash only.
"A beautiful place to hangout, it has a huge place and filled with barbecue fire places. The entry fees is 30 pesos per head and i believe you need to pay extra for parking if you have vehicle. Note that we need to get all barbecue equipment. They have good seating places, washrooms/toilet. And a mini zoo consisting animals like zebra, alpaca, deers. Overall its a good place to chill."

"The park has a huge area. You can take a walk there, play football or have a picnic. There are special picnic tables. A lot of animals. Llamas walk around the park without restrictions. It felt like you were walking in the forest. Park ticket price: 30 pesos per person and it is a little bit higher for people with cars. Payment only in cash"

"It is almost one and half hour distance from Montevideo by bus. Once you get down, you have to walk for 10-15 mins and buy an entry ticket of 30 Pesos. It is an open park so you can just find a place suitable for you, you can also drive your vehicle inside and bring all stuffs, have barbeque and walk around the park and just have fun. There is also play area for kids and water available for drinking. There are so many wild animals which you can see like Llama, Ostrich, zebra, baboons, deers. So very convenient and excellent picnic spot for a day to just unwind and relax with your friends and family and kids will love it too."
