Have you ever been to Punta del Este? How was it? How much time should I spend there?
Punta del Este is so nice but so expensive. I took a one day tour from Montevideo. Please, don't miss Casapueblo. The views are fantastic. Walk through downtown and visit Rali Museum [it seems it's only open on weekends].

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Las Cumbres Viewpoint are overwhelmingly negative, citing poor food quality, high prices, and exceptionally rude service as major drawbacks. While there's a restaurant on the first floor with slightly better food, the overall experience is marred by a tense atmosphere, especially in the crowded departure lounge. Many travelers strongly advise against eating or drinking here.
"Worst airport food ever! Had a tostado mixto which was uneatable the bread tasted horrible and they even charged me for it! Avoid this place if you can !!!!!"

"There are 2 View Points at the airport:
1) One on the first floor. It is a restaurant with several menu options, although if you have dietary restrictions there are very few options. Excellent service and good quality of food. Relatively quick attention.
2) In the departure lounge. Small, practically only cafeteria. Not recommended if you have dietary restrictions. Very friendly staff.
What is horrible is the departure lounge. The room is too small and with few seats for 3 boarding gates, added to the fact that the duty free is before the control so people have nothing else to do and accumulate there."

"I ordered a double cortado or a flat white and they served me a tiny cup (supposedly with two shots) with barely any foam. They charged me $390 for that. Everywhere it's half that price."
