"Awesome beach on the northwest side of St. John. We approached from the water by boat and also checked out the beach a few days later by car. Nice snorkeling along the east edge of the bay. Saw several parrotfish, a baby turtle, and loads of small fish. A gem of a beach! From the beach, you can access the small reef on the right side of the beach. We saw a starfish cruising in the sand and turtles in further from the edge of the reef area. There is a non working shower stall that's good for cover from the rain. Word of caution...parking is MINIMAL here. Only 3 spaces to park by the entry gate, and that's it."

Just a few parking spots outside the gate at Oppenheimer Beach. Come early, or come late like we did. We didn’t get to snorkel, but will on our next trip. Beautiful beach and the house the Oppenheimer family lived in."
