My post visit thoughts
So my wife and I just left St. Croix. We stayed in Frederiksted and had a wonderful time. We caught the fireworks at Sandcastle and we got what we came for which was a peaceful relaxing time, in fact we chose St. Croix over St. Thomas for that reason. However I do have oneโฆ

"Sad, forgotten town. Not much to see but gutted, rotted, old buildings that haven't seen any life in years. Truly depressing. There are some cool shops and some nice places to eat, but not many. The fort was interesting for those who dig history but it's a quick visit."

"Fredriksted was amazing! We were given a personal tour by a local friend we made on the airplane. We happened to be there during the Women's Coalition race. They made it quite the party! Moko Jumbies, kids playing steel drums, followed by a fantastic sunset. There's lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from. It was such a fun place to visit. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I loved it there!!!"

"Very charming old town. Some nice beaches and great food at Fred, and Sand Castle Cottages. Some hidden gems, such as sea glass beach. This a nice place to photograph a beautiful sunset"
