"This was one of our favorite stops. Because it’s an active farm and rental properties it is well maintained. Beautiful old ruins, most buildings marked so you know what they were. Honestly we enjoyed this more than the botanical gardens which were overgrown and barely maintained. Definitely worth the drive!"
Jennifer Watson
"Great historical site that you can stroll around and learn some history. Places here are still rented so owners ask that you respect the privacy of the guests. 4 wheel drive road, navigable by car if not raining heavily. Beautiful grounds and interesting structures. Worth the trip."
