"The Vatican Museums are among the most famous in the world – and with good reason. They are absolutely stunning, both inside and out. The atmosphere feels magical, with an energy that is truly surreal. I highly recommend everyone to visit this sacred place at least once in their lifetime.
That said, here are some important notes: officially, you’re not supposed to enter wearing short clothing that shows your arms, stomach, or legs, but I noticed many women inside with short and revealing outfits. Be prepared to dedicate almost an entire day to this visit. Even with tickets in hand, the queues are extremely long, though the security system is very efficient.
My biggest disappointment was with the large tour groups. Honestly, it was overwhelming – crowds moving in packs, stopping everywhere just to take endless photos and videos, often blocking the view and disturbing those who genuinely want to admire the art. I chose to take only a few pictures because I preferred to truly appreciate Michelangelo’s breathtaking masterpieces.
However, the experience was tough: the sheer number of people, the pushing, bumping, and lack of courtesy made it exhausting. I only lasted about two hours before leaving. Since it was August and very hot, I ended up cooling down at a bar nearby with a refreshing lemonade.
Tips: wear light, breathable clothing, prepare for the crowds, and most importantly – good luck!"

"Very beautiful. If you have kids that aren’t into museums probably don’t come here because it is VERY long. Definitely recommend tho. FYI a decent amount of walking and stairs but there are elevators if needed"

"Beautiful! Must see! While we booked a tour (also recommend) you get history and see a lot of the stuff it has to offer. While at first he said we’d skip a lot after a two hour long history class and hundreds of people I thought it was a great amount of time. If you don’t mind a lot of people (unlike me who HATES when people are in my personal space) you could just raw dog the museum and look at what you want but I enjoyed the group to block heavy flow of people. And everything is absolutely stunning history and art are on every wall this is an absolute must see!"
