While some find the market small, most appreciate the genuine local experience and the chance to purchase unique handicrafts and fresh produce at good prices.

"This place was the place when i arrive SaPa. My bus stoped here from Hanoi in early morning around 5 AM. After got out from the bus, there were alot of people come to you to offer hostel, hotel, or trekking trip with the Mama (black Hmong ladies). The people will offer you aggressively, so if you dont need their service, you can just say no and keep walking. This place is not far from the Lake of SaPa. You also can find alot of restaurant around this place.
In the evening, this place become night market. They sell clothes, blankets, foods, barbecue, some snacks. The night market here is not that big. Maybe just 100 or 200 meters long. But this is good place if u wanna hangout and wanna try more local atmosphere rather than in tourist central"

"A small market for locals to sell their fresh produce to passing by the visitors, travelers. They are people from local hamlets nearby selling their home garden veggies, fruits. The price for the produce is right but you could bargain a little bit (but not too much since it is already cheap and the sellers just try to make the end met or have new books for the kids). Give them a smile!"

"It's time to survey and shopping for local fruits and vegetables ,but not to large market."
