What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Helio Night Market offers a vibrant atmosphere with a wide array of food and entertainment, particularly appealing to families. While some visitors found it closed on weekends or noted higher prices than traditional markets, many enjoyed the fresh seafood, live music, and kid-friendly facilities. The clean environment and lack of pushy sellers are also frequently praised.
"I visited Helio Center without checking if it was open or closed, 😥 and I found out it was completely closed over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
There are no evening markets or food options available.
As for the center itself, there were only a few employees inside and no customers at all. The place is deserted, and it would be better to turn off the lights and close the doors to prevent people from going there unnecessarily."

"We visited on a Sunday evening and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the place was clean, and the prices were reasonable. It's clear they’re trying to set themselves apart from traditional night markets with a unique, hipster vibe. However, the crowd was a bit small and the atmosphere wasn’t as lively.
We left early to catch the Dragon Bridge fire show, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the live music. We did notice that some people came for the food and left afterward, likely because there wasn't much else to do. A suggestion would be to start the live music earlier to help keep the crowd around longer and create a more lively atmosphere."

"More suited to families with children. As others mention there is a good variety of food stalls available with no pushy sellers. Albeit, food is a more pricey than similar found in the streets.
Place is very clean, and food appears fresh. There was a stage which looked to house entertainment, but by the time we left at 8pm there was still no action.
We did visit during a kids dance show, which meant there were plenty of locals on attendance. Helio centre has kids games arcade, play equipment and a cinema.
Free entry and parking readily available right outside the entrance. Would be good if there were more entertaining options for adults, hoping they continue to expand offerings."
