The inclusion of Trung Trang Cave adds extra value to the reasonable entrance fee. Some note the heat and humidity, recommending proper gear and hydration.
"Nice hike with beautiful view at the top.
Come before 17:00 if you want to see the sunset. The route takes 45min. Go with shoes (no flipflops) because the path is quite steep with sharp rocks. Bring lots of water (you can buy some on the way there is a shop on the path) because its going to be very hot and humid but totaly worth it. There is also 120k entrance fee."

"I highly recommend doing this short hike. It's very easy to do it on your own I followed an All Trail circular route. You take the motorbike and leave it at the National Park 's entrance. This ticket is valid for the view point and for the cave that is super nice too. It was warm when I went but I still couldn't see a lot on the top. It was well worth it though the jungle is amazing!!!"
Eszter Sz
"Entry was 120k for the peak + trung Trang cave.
The way up is relatively short with amazing views at the top and many butterflies (at least during August) and other small animals on the way.
I would bring mosquito repellent."

The Hike to the Summit
Practicalities for the climb: Remember to bring ample water, as the humidity can be intense. Although there's a shop on the trail, it's wise to be prepared. For those concerned about insects, carrying mosquito repellent is a good precaution. The National Park entrance provides parking for motorbikes, and for a small fee, you can even store your backpack if you wish to lighten your load for the ascent.
Safety and Enjoyment
While the hike is manageable, some sections at the top can be a bit precarious. Taking your time and enjoying the natural surroundings is key to a pleasant experience. The effort is undeniably worth it for the spectacular views that await at the summit.
Capturing the Iconic Views
For those seeking a more serene photography experience, an early morning visit can offer softer light and fewer people. The jungle trail itself is also photogenic, with opportunities to capture the vibrant flora and fauna. When planning your shots, consider bringing a wide-angle lens to encompass the vastness of the scenery. A polarizing filter can enhance the colors of the sky and water, making your photos truly pop.
Tips for smartphone photographers: Ensure your phone's camera lens is clean before you start. Using HDR mode can help balance the bright sky and darker foregrounds. If you have a tripod, it can be beneficial for sharper images, especially if you're shooting during the golden hour or twilight.
Beyond the Viewpoint: Trung Trang Cave
The cave is known for its stalactites and stalagmites, which have been shaped over millennia. While not as grand as some of the more famous caves in Vietnam, Trung Trang offers a unique and accessible experience that complements the mountain hike. It's a great addition to your visit, providing a different kind of natural wonder to explore.
Visitor insights: Many visitors find the cave to be a pleasant surprise, adding value to the overall ticket price. It's a good place to cool down and appreciate the natural artistry of underground formations.
