"Located in Ha Long, Quang Ninh, Loi Am Pagoda is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the area. My friends and I decided to travel by motorbike from Cat Ba Island, which took about 30 minutes from the Tuần Châu - Ha Long ferry dock. We then had to take a ferry or boat to get to the foot of Loi Am Mountain. The journey to the sacred Loi Am Pagoda required a long walk of nearly 1km, consisting of 5 steep hills and 2 gentle slopes. However, the scenery on both sides of the road was very natural and beautiful, which did not disappoint us at all. The path leading to the pagoda has been paved with cement, making it easy to walk on. The ancient trees on both sides of the road added to the tranquil atmosphere.
Especially, there is also a beautiful field of pineapples here, where you can stop and take some unique photos. Upon arrival at the pagoda, we were able to pray for our career, peace, and good fortune in life. We found peace in our hearts and let go of the pressures and chaos of daily life. Additionally, it is essential to prepare appropriate offerings and to understand the rules of the pagoda.
Don't forget to try the famous Loi Am Pagoda grilled chicken, a local delicacy that is a must-try. As the weather at the pagoda can be quite cold, it's best to bring a light jacket. Loi Am Pagoda is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Quang Ninh. The fresh air and cool climate of the area promise to bring you peace and tranquility in your soul.
