What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently impressed by the unique beauty and cultural authenticity of Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. The vibrant red incense fields are a major draw, offering unparalleled photographic opportunities. The opportunity to witness traditional craftsmanship and the serene, newly renovated pagoda add to the enriching experience. While some mention ongoing construction, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its status as a must-visit for those seeking the 'real Vietnam'.
"Awesome pagoda.
We discovered the pagoda by chance. We were passing through. After we saw it, we carefully went inside. There was construction work going on and we knew whether we were allowed to enter. When we were just outside the pagoda, a monk came in. He spoke excellent English and told us a lot about the pagoda without hesitation. You could certainly spend hours there looking at the many handmade details. The construction work is almost finished and they are probably only working on small details. Inside the pagoda itself, you almost fall off your chair, you can't describe it. Here you realize that real Buddhism. Everything is made for people who want to pray and not for tourists. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to get to know the real Vietnam."
