What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mui Ne Fishing Village offers a raw, authentic glimpse into local life, especially vibrant at sunrise. Visitors praise the incredibly fresh seafood and photographic opportunities, though some caution about potential vendor honesty and the rustic, sometimes trash-strewn environment. It's a must-visit for an immersive cultural and culinary experience.
"A signature "attraction" of Mui Ne. This venue is not set up for tourists but a real local fish market. The area has plenty of trash strewn everywhere, but don't let it distract from the evolving authentic slice of daily. Ideally, go at sunrise time (533am) and feel the place comes alive. A photographer's heaven indeed. By 645am, the activities would have thin out by then. With waking up early for this gem. No entrance free needed."

"It used to be when you climbed down the stairs you'll get cheap and good seafood.
The stall owners who run it now seems to have swapped a lot of fresh seafood with long dead or clearly spoilt seafood, and they did this 2 days in a row when we patronised them.
We thought the first day was a misunderstanding, but after a whole container of spoilt mantis shrimps, a whole plate of hollowed out crabs and a 2nd day of the same, it is clear these people are unrepentant cheaters.
Take your chances elsewhere!"

"Mũi Né Fishing Village at sunrise was an incredible experience. We arrived at 5:30 a.m., which is the best time to see the market in full swing. Fishermen were still bringing in their catch, while women sorted, cleaned, and packed the seafood onto motorbikes for distribution. It felt raw and real—a glimpse into daily life here. As the morning went on, the market quieted, and locals arrived to buy fresh seafood from stalls set up right on the sand. A must-visit, especially for photographers! Easily my favorite experience in Mũi Né."
