What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Pitu Khosa Rangsay Pagoda for its stunning Khmer architecture, vibrant interior decorations, and peaceful atmosphere, especially noting the beautiful sunset views from the rooftop. Some mention the narrow access roads and slippery steps as minor drawbacks.
"This is a nice temple tucked away amongst the back streets in a local neighbourhood.
The temple design, architecture and decorations are like those you would see in Cambodia, of the Theravada branch of Buddhism.
The actual size of the complex is quite small, especially the courtyard section, but the temple building has several storeys to it. Each of the levels can be visited, and each are colourfully decorated with religious statues, murals and art.
If you're in the area, or within Can Tho and have yet to see a Cambodian styled temple (Wat), and are interested, then this would worthwhile of a visit.
The local roads leading to it are quite narrow and suited only to motorbikes and pedestrians. If you arrive by car you would have to be dropped off on the larger, main road and walk the rest if the way, which isn't too far (approximately 200 metres from the nearest main road)."
