"This is another excellent viewpoint along QL4C Road and, remarkably, one which few people doing the loop will stop at. Possibly because they’ve already stopped at Heaven’s Gate, just 2 km back along the road. There’s no café here, so that may also be less of an incentive to stop. There’s a short hike up a stairway to an excellent viewing platform at the top of the hill. From this you get sweeping views of the terrain to the north, as opposed to the eastern views you get at Heavens Gate. The significance of this, if you’re a photographer, is you won’t be looking into the sun if you’re here in the morning. Note: this is certainly the case at Heaven’s Gate."
