"Cannot recommend Bhaya Cruises enough! We did the 2D 1N Bhaya Soul Cruise (which only launched for the first time a few months ago) and had a fantastic time.
The boat is very new and super well-equipped. There is a delightful heated swimming pool, sundeck, indoor and outdoor bar and the dining room not only has gorgeous views out of the window but served incredible food too. Beds were comfortable and large and each cabin also had it's own bath and balcony.
Activities were also fantastic - we thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking, meditation walk through Tien Ong Cave, and the visit to a floating village. One thing that really sets Bhaya apart is they travel a longer route and stop in areas that are not crowded so you can experience the Bay's serenity without any other tourists around. We also received a complimentary foot massage on board which was just heavenly!
One of our favourite parts was absolutely the staff on board though. They were a delightful bunch and so attentive and helpful. Timothy was our fantastic host and we cannot thank him enough for his kindness and expertise.
If we had had more time available, we would've loved to do a longer cruise, but if you are like us and time poor, definitely check out the Bhaya Soul Cruise - it is truly a magical experience!"

"We really loved our 3-day, 2-night cruise, it felt like a soft landing in Ha Long Bay. The staff were incredibly kind, generous, and always eager to accommodate anything we needed. The trip was well-organized and peaceful, with just the right amount of activities like kayaking, cave & pearl farm visits, swimming... easy and enjoyable for both adults and kids.
It was also a very family-friendly experience. Our kids felt welcome, and the staff made them feel seen and included, which made it that much more special.
Something small that didn’t resonate with us as much, though offered in good spirit was live Vietnamese violinist playing a Vietnamese violin. He played beautifully, but only Western/American songs - which felt a little disconnected from the local setting. We would’ve loved even one or two Vietnamese pieces to connect more deeply with the culture.
During the spring roll-making demonstration (which was fun, cute, and surprisingly practical to learn how to make them) hygiene could be improved. Only hand sanitizer was used by staff and guests, versus everyone washing their hands and having gloves available for all.
That said, overall it was a lovely and memorable experience. A clean, calm, and welcoming cruise that helped us experience Ha Long Bay in a relaxing, effortless way. We’re so glad we did it."
