"I have done two painting lessons here and booked for a third. I've learning to paint bamboo, lanterns and orchids so far. The teacher is a lovely lady who is very patient. She mixes the paint and demonstrates the technique. Then I practice before committing the paintbrush to the handmade paper. I try to copy one of her designs. For my first attempts with her help I'm very pleased with the results. I recommend - a lovely way to spend an hour or so in a cool beautiful place learning something new - with your picture to take away at the end. EDIT: In my third lesson I attempted fish. Photo shows the result."
