The staff are frequently highlighted for their friendliness, patience, and helpfulness, making it accessible for all skill levels. "Had the loveliest experience here after researching a few different places. We wanted somewhere we could make our own frame too and this place offered both options. The lady running it was just fantastic: very clear, patient, friendly and helpful. It’s also a nicer studio space than some others we saw. We went at 9am with no booking and it was nice and quiet. We loved it so much we went back at 3:30pm-ish and it was much busier. We had a little wait for a table but there were also 4 other lovely staff there helping out. We loved our lanterns and the service here, would recommend! A few different sizes and shapes to choose from and lots of fabrics and tassels."

"Today I was at the Lantern Lady shop and had a fun time making a lantern from scratch, was able to choose size, frame and fabrics to be on the lantern, adding top and bottom bands and tassel to finish this fun art/craft project, this handmade piece will be something to remind me of my trip to Vietnam. She made it easy guiding me adding, stretching the fabric to make it fit nicely over the frame, as well as cutting the excess fabric and trimming it up. A good 60 to 90 minute fun place you share with others or solo."

"Absolutely wonderful experience! Suitable for everyone. There's lots of choice and it's great that you don't need a booking so you can show up when is convenient for you. The lady's inside were very professional and helped with some tricky bits. Never felt rushed. Very reasonably priced, 150.VND for a small lantern start to finish. Would definitely recommend and do again 😁"
