What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Coi Nguon Museum for its extensive collection detailing Phu Quoc's history and nature, and the fantastic panoramic views from its rooftop. While some exhibits show signs of age and dust, the affordable entry fee makes it a highly recommended and enriching experience for those interested in local heritage.
"I am glad I came, saw and took pictures - we took the time to read all that was on display and discuss the history with our son.
Some attention to detail is needed, the glass cabinets are not clear and some areas do need renewing.
We love Vietnam and respect the history, plus I love the visuals/symbolism."

"This is a wonderful place for fans of dusty museums! You can get acquainted with both nature and history of Vietnam, and also look from the roof at the city and the sea. It seems that there used to be a cafe on the roof - we wish for the speedy restoration of this option :). Our trip to Phu Quoc would not be complete without this museum!"

"Great experience, a mish-mash of everything but fun to see. More explanations in English would be great, as interesting as the exhibits were it was hard to know what we were seeing... what were the bones from? Why were the pots and plates of interest, how old were they and where did they come from, etc.
Support this museum if you get here, you can see that funds are desperately needed for repairs to this amazing building and to assist staffing that would result in cleaner exhibit cases. 50,000 dong is really cheap for this experience. Well done to the curators!"
