"My wife and I booked the day trip on the Ambassador Cruise and it was outstanding. The lunch was delicious with both Asian and Western food. The visit to Sung Sot Cave was exhilarating, note about 400 stairs to climb. There is plenty of staff around and all was well organized. Overall it is highly recommended.
We also noted they have a dinner cruise on the same boat starting at 6:00 PM so we booked it for the following evening since we were staying in Ha Long. Very few guests were on-board, then again the food was delicious, same as the day trip and there was a live band to entertain the guests. This was also well organized and worth taking the trip if you're spending the night in Ha Long."

"It was a wonderful experience from pick up at Hanoi to boarding the cruise at Halong Bay. The lunch was just wow with lot of options. we skipped the kayaking and island visit due to hectic schedules and opted for cooking demonstrations. Dinner was a bit disappointing and the final item was not found to be properly roasted. we left it unconsumed, the music was very lively and good. next morning the Tai Chi demonstration never happened and the visit to the cave was memorable due to our lovely guide “Huyen” who explained things in details and clicked pictures. even she loaned us 150000 to buy our pictures clicked by professionals. we paid her back at Halong. enjoyed the trip, rooms were neat and clean, water was refilled as and when required. value for money: recommend Ambassador Cruise - overnight one."

"This cruise was fantastic. We were on the Signature cruise. It was organised so efficiently. Our room was so spacious with a great layout (better than most hotel rooms) and very luxurious. We had a balcony which was great to enjoy the view. The activities which were included in the price were very enjoyable. The staff were amazing, especially Tom who was our tour guide, was really friendly and knowledgeable. Also the ship director, I believe his name was John, was extremely helpful with any questions we had. He also was involved with every aspect of the cruise to serving the meals, greeting everyone on and off the ship and explaining our activities. I cannot recommend this cruise more highly."
