Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking natural beauty of the Trang An Landscape Complex, highlighting the unique boat tours through caves and karst formations as a must-do experience. The affordability and accessibility of Ninh Binh also receive positive mentions. However, some find the boat tours can get crowded, and the sheer number of attractions might feel rushed on a short visit.
"This is such a nice place in Ninh Bhin..it will be remembered for your life time. It's scenic all the way you row the boat. There are 3 routes covering the water ways. We have chosen 2nd route which is for 1.45 hours and you have option to stop at 2 temples. There are multiple temples enroute and enhances the experience. I was thrilled with their natural beauty. I visited this place during drizzling and my experience is great.
I seriously suggest pay some decent tip to the farmers who row our boats. They had to do a lot of hardwork and they don't row it like everyday. Optionally there are paddlers in each boat and you can also row the boat.
The cave experiences are unique. I would say this is a great and unforgettable experience .
There is king kong shaped hill you can see where these movies are shooted."

"Trang An is a breathtaking natural wonder that perfectly captures the serene beauty of Vietnam. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is famous for its emerald-green rivers, dramatic limestone karsts, and peaceful cave systems. A boat ride through Trang An feels like drifting through a living painting, where towering cliffs rise from calm waters and lush greenery surrounds you at every turn.
The journey takes you through a series of caves, each with its own unique formations and quiet mystery. As the boat gently glides forward, the only sounds you hear are the oars touching the water and birds echoing from the cliffs, creating a deeply calming experience. Along the way, you’ll pass ancient temples and pagodas tucked into the mountains, adding a spiritual and historical layer to the landscape.
What makes Trang An truly special is its harmony between nature and heritage. The area has been carefully preserved, allowing visitors to experience its beauty without disturbing its fragile ecosystem. Trang An is not just a sightseeing destination—it’s a peaceful escape that leaves you refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected to nature."

"A must place in Vietnam. A 2 hr drive fron Hanoi centre, all worth the effort. Park and buy tickets and go underground crossing to the boat centre. Very organised que system. Hundreds of boatman will be ready With their boats and life jacket. We took a 2 hr ride and the boat woman was very strong .amazing scenes and she clicks all along the important place of importance. She had amazing skills to navigate the boat in caves and it was Thrilling all the way in and out. Caves are lit up with lights and some times we need to duck the rocks. Tipping is definitely encouraged for all the hard work for 2 hr rowing .
We gave 5 dollar's whichnis decent.
A must activity not to miss at all"
